"HCJC winners .... SCJC ...oops SCGS (Singapore Chinese Girls' School). and so marks my last involvement with any debating tournament either as a debator or adjudicator .
The semifinals were between ACS (Anglo-Chinese School) and SCGS. Against all odds and apparently against the wishes of certain ACS teachers , we ( yes all 5 judges including the very credible Paul Tan :>) gave it unanimously to SCGS . The AC boys just did not make the cut filling their arguements with mere claims or arguementation by example. Having said so, the boys did mention a credible smooth presentation but just did not answer the important questions brought up by the SC girls.
The final was between SCGS and RGS on the motion " THW celebrate the power of the free press"
The first SCGS speaker was shaky despite the fact that it was a debate they had prepared a whole week for . The RGS first speaker did a good job but somehow felt otherwise. I was quite surprised and saddened by the fact that she was so distraught after she sat down from her speech . IT doesnt help impressions.
Then comes April :> Smart and cute. Still I felt she did a good job without any partiality from me. Notta at all.
The 3rd speakers just did not turn up . So
yesh... the final result ended in a 5-4 split within the 9 man panel.

moving on....
had quite a good weekend. went out with nat to watch windstruck, a real sad movie i ll say. a tad cliche but still works the tearducts so i dont suppose anyone left the cinema complaining. went shopping after that. she was looking for some cosmetics. was a tad moody and tired that day. feel bad for being non-fun company.

so i started work week again. yesterday, friends dragged me to play pool.had a good couple of games. but pocket evolved a big hole resultantly.

to you: i m sorry i did not get to see you online. i didnt know you were ill. i am such an idiot to have miss your calls this morning as well, the phone was on silent. tried msging and calling u back. but too late i suppose. pls dont be mad. and yes i ve been an uptight pushy person the past few days, i realise u used to like going out coz it was fun. will work at it i promise.

Allow me to forewarn you. The following rants and raves are long overdued and may seem more than a little trite but I am still going to do it nonetheless. So read at your own peril.

They did it. Greece won it. Blooming hell. A team with no stars. And you whats the best part, I knew they would do it from the get go. Don�t believe me? Well for the record. I�ve won money. Yes I broke my rule of gambling and betted on the final. And won 40 over dollars. Haha . so it�s a pittance. But the idea of being proved right and of the exact score and pattern of score is a mean feat.

nicolaus kistner gymnasium is not a cheap german version of California fitness. It s the best local high school in Mosbach. haah which doesnt speak alot actually. This is a picture of our international Junior Program class. As you can see, there are a right number hotties. Conspicioiusly missing are the nine Germans who would join us when the term started. You would also notice barring Kenny and Audrey " too tall for her own good " Ng are the only ones who dont stand out for being short.
